This year I am going to aim to publish here (ad hoc!) some posts that describe a day at work in my secondary music classroom. I often feel that the role of a classroom music teacher can be rather misunderstood as well as rather lonely for those in single person departments. I’m keen to shine a light on what we do day to day, we need to draw educators and musicians into this brilliant profession. I am also hoping it will trigger some conversations around the sides and provoke ideas for future blog posts.
I will aim to several over the next few months, I would love to either see some other posts from music educators doing something similar to connect good practice and ideas or even have some guest posts here if anyone would be interested?
